There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the vicinity, making it a convenient choice for guests. The on-site restaurant is fantastic, serving delicious light meals that I thoroughly enjoyed.

hotel itself is quite surprising, fact that it was a monastery gives it a lot of charm. pool is quite clean and of an acceptable size. breakfast is good, we only miss fresh gas water. You can have breakfast on the patio, is quite nice. In general the impression was good, we would personally recommend the hotel.
The shower was pretty old-fashioned, I didn't feel like using it. One of the windows didn't close properly, but in his discharge we didn't complain directly. The price-performance ratio (range of 100 euro/night) is not at all optimal compared to other similarly priced hotels we have been to. The location is not good, but more because of the municipality in which it is located than because of the hotel itself. If someone is interested in visiting the province of Cadiz, El Puerto de Santa Maria is not the best place to stay.

The bed was comfortable, a good TV, the room cozy, bathroom with bidet.
We arrived at the hotel on Maundy Thursday, we went up to the room the door handle was hanging, (I have a photo) I imagine that they would know at the reception because it was the room cleaning lady who told us and helped us to enter, holding the handle with one hand and inserting the card with the other, we left, on Saturday, it was still hanging. They didn't have restaurant service and cafeteria started at 4pm, in the middle of Easter. we went to dinner at night, they asked us if we had half board, we said no and then they told us that if we didn't have half board we couldn't sit at the tables in the cafeteria for dinner, it was 9:40 pm and of approximately 15 tables, only 3 were occupied, we stayed to have some sandwiches at the bar and they told us they didn't have any bread. Other people arrived just like us and they didn't even give the option of having a drink at the bar, "they had to get by", we left at 22:10 and 12 empty tables followed. printer did not print and they could not give you a ticket for your drink. breakfast buffet, assorted but of low quality, especially the cold cuts, took a long time to replace what was finished.

The Crisol Monasterio De San Miguel is a beautiful and luxurious hotel. I was able to check in early as my room was ready, which was a nice touch. The location is excellent, within walking distance to most of the city, making it convenient for exploring. The staff here are great and very friendly, always available to satisfy any requests. The hotel has a lovely outdoor swimming pool, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the warm weather. The hotel also offers other amenities like a fitness centre and a sun terrace, so there's something for everyone here. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Excellent attention at the reception. We had a problem with the room we had been allocated and they changed it for us without any objection and with great kindness. building is magnificent, room is very wide, with lounge, good wifi, minibar and two spectacular televisions (although the one in the lounge is somewhat displaced from the sofas). stay has been very pleasant and relation quality price very good.
For my taste, the temperature of the suite, especially the living room, was a bit too high, despite having the heating set as high as it would allow. As a curiosity, the suite had a small terrace (but useful) where two small armchairs and a table are installed, but this one is of such size, in relation to the size of the terrace, that practically occupies it completely. Perhaps a smaller table would allow a greater enjoyment of that space.

The reception and cafeteria staff, very friendly. The beautiful building. The parking lot in the same building. The very big and comfortable bed.
rooms need a touch up, especially the floors with quite old carpets and bathroom with tiles about to fall in some areas. the bathtub is quite dangerous, you have nowhere to grab to get in and out and it was rusty. I noticed that the bed, although it was very comfortable, didn't have a quilt, only the sheet and in the morning I was cold, there was a blanket in the closet but it seemed excessive. half board was not recommended to anyone, dinner buffet did not have much, only entered to drink a bottle of water and hot dishes were almost nothing. Anyway, big building very nice but it lacks maintenance.

I've had a real good stay on a business trip. I got a rich breakfast with hot dishes and meat, as example. The rooms were airy and neat here with balcony, terrace, as for instance. The best thing was how competent and amazingly helpful the staff were.

Puerto del Sol is very close to Jerez which during the Fair is expensive. It is wonderful for Seafood and it is possible to take a small ferry directly into the Old and Historic part of Cadiz. The Hotel is good value for money and is well appointed.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The room was nicely furnished and the staff were accommodating. The location is marvelous, close to a ferry port. The area surrounding the hotel is nice. The restaurant offers reasonably priced warm dishes for dinner.

hotel is beautiful, room very wide and comfortable. I can't comment on the breakfast because I didn't hire him. Cádiz is a very cheap province to eat. It's tastefully decorated, worth a visit. garden is beautiful and swimming pool not too big, with the perfect water. I loved to see that it has a hydraulic chair so that people with disabilities can also take advantage of it. It is worth to hire the parking for the car.
All great, just to say that, as it is not a city with extreme temperatures, the windows are not double-glazed, so it is not as well soundproofed with the street. Nor between floors, because you could hear the children in the room above. But with how nice the hotel is and how comfortable the rooms are, that goes unnoticed. It is true, as I read in another comment, that the pool could open earlier to take a dip before going for a walk.

We loved the hotel itself, central but at the same time very quiet, charming (the hotel itself is worth visiting), clean and pool was a plus! breakfast was very complete and very good too! We were from Friday to Sunday and truth is that we managed to be totally disconnected! Super happy with our choice. OF 10!!
The only thing that surprised us a little was the treatment a bit distant from the reception staff, they are nice and attend to your requests with kindness, but they interact just enough, for example when entering and leaving the hotel we were the ones who said hello and goodbye first, if not as if we went a little unnoticed, at the time of check-in they give you a letter that is great with many indications about Puerto de Santa Maria and services, but I missed a little more warmth in the treatment! I also repeat SUUMPER CONTENT with our choice :)
